The start of the adventure
I had been looking for a good solid Alfa Romeo for several years. One evening I saw an ad for a 1981 Spider at Country Hill Motors in Merriam KS. Mentioned the ad to Lori and the next morning we were at the dealer when they opened and saw this car on the lot.
I then looked at the interior and saw that it had been restored to almost new condition.
After a test drive and a bit of negotiation, we got the price where we wanted it and by noon we were cruising through a beautiful fall day in Kansas City with the top down listening to the music of the Alfa engine.
